The corner stone of the Alfredo Harp Helú Foundation is a sincere love for México and a profound commitment to our country’s development.

Throughout its existence, our Foundation has tried its very best to fulfill this fundamental commitment in a variety of ways. Some of them have been successful, and some others have met with difficulties, but in either case our enthusiasm has not waned.

Our Foundation has undertaken many projects on its own initiative and has examined and decided to support several others that were presented to us by local communities in various regions of México and by public entities from the three levels of government in need of funding.

We are well aware that in order to be successful our efforts have to be supported by the efforts of others. That is why our Foundation has worked alongside with governments and communities without any regard to their political and partisan points of view or their religious and cultural backgrounds. This joint effort has always produced positive results.
